Florals and Dots

Outfit Details:
dress: H&M
jacket: Bernardo Leather via Nordstrom
bag: Chictopia
boots: Restricted
sunglasses: Asos
hat: Urban Outfitters
lipstick: Kat von D Studded Lipstick in Wonderchilde

This was such a fun outfit to put together! Sometimes I get shy about mixing patterns and just going for it! Here I didn't even think twice about my choices. I knew I wanted to wear this dress, and then I knew I needed some tights, so I grabbed these. Probably one of the few outfits I haven't over-thought in awhile. And the great thing about it was that I didn't feel self-conscious at all about my choice, which sometimes can happen when I am launching myself out of that safe box. I felt funky and comfortable and myself in this ensemble! This probably means I need to stop over-thinking my outfits all the time and just go for it!

On a side note... this dress is one of my favorites at the moment. It is so easy to throw on and can be styled a few different ways. The greatest thing about it is that It was only 10$ from H&M!!! Super amazing deal.

Do you have a hard time over-thinking out of the box style choices?

My Photo Sesh with Danielle

Check out my Smokey Eye makeup tutorial to get this look!

Outfit Details:
top: Gift from my lovely friend Jenna
jacket: Bernardo Leather via Nordstrom
boots: Asos
crossbody: Danielle Nicole via Hautelook
gold ring: Charming Charlie

Check out the editorial portion of the shoot// The Italian Job

I am so lucky to have been contacted by Danielle to work with her on her boudoir and glamour photoshoots as a makeup artist and hair stylist last year. We clicked immediately and I knew that it was the beginning of not only a wonderful working relationship but also an amazing friendship!

I love seeing how comfortable she makes her clients feel and how she captures not only their outer beauty but their inner beauty as well! After working with her so often I knew she would capture some great shots for me to showcase here for all of you and of course to show off my favorite leather jacket (only leather jacket) and these awesome biker boots from Asos

With this look I decided to do a super smokey eye and red lip to keep the outfit both edgy and sultry. The red lip adds to the little pops of colors that I added with the accessories and nails. I can't wait till out next shoot for the blog!

What types of shoots would you be excited to see here?

Schedule your session with Danielle today! Trust me you won't regret it!
