I absolutely love this shoot I did with my mom! I had errands to run that day and just threw this outfit together. I chose layering neutral options over the olive green crop pants to keep it low key, yet put together. It was such a comfortable pairing too! Anytime you pair a loose dress over a long-sleeved shirt you are guaranteed a comfortable day. I paired the tall boots with these crop pants to keep my ankles warm and to make the outfit more appropriate for the weather.

What is your most comfortable outfit to wear out and about!?

Lips and Sequins

Outfit Details:
glasses: BonLook
top: Target
skirt: Urban Outfitters
gloves: Target
shoes: Naturalizer via Macy's

While I was in New York for Fashion week back in February, my sister decided to take a day trip from Philly to come visit! So since I had not had a chance to visit my cousin and his lovely wife, Gian Carlo and Sarah, we decided to make it over to Brooklyn for brunch. Of course we had to take some photos for the blog!

They recently published their book Beer Lover's New York, which I had to purchase and I got them to sign it! I am now hoping that after I read it I will become a bit more knowledgeable about beer! Check out their site: BeerUnion and then go get that book!!

A little note on my outfit...I found this awesome top while looking through the clearance section at Target. It was the only one there and it fit; definitely a meant to be purchase! For this outfit I paired it with the flirty a-line skirt to add some femininity to the look. I can't wait to pair this top with a few other outfits so you can see its versatility.

I got my mom the Naked 2 palette for her birthday, and she loves the pigmentation of their shadows and the range this palette offers. So I decided to have some fun and do her makeup using the palette and then doing my own using the same palette. As you can see we didn't even use all of the colors, there are endless possibilities with this tool! Check out the other 2 Naked palettes Urban Decay has to offer:
