This was such a great creative team to work with! It was the first time I had worked with a lot of them, a few who I had met at the Cupcakes and Cocktails Bridal Event last fall.

The whole team descended upon The Winery at Bull Run and created an space that could have been taken straight out of a Baroque painting, with all of its luxurious abundance.

The makeup I chose to go with this styled shoot was a rich saturated burgundy lip to contrast her alabaster skin and then I used a beautiful opulent gold liner above the black eyeliner to add some subtle glint to the eye makeup. The hair was curled and then styled to the side, I love just letting the hair fall as it may, with only the subtlest amount of guidance.

As you can see from the makeup to the hair to the set design and everything in between the concept was luxurious opulence paired with contrasting colors to create a cross be tween Rembrandt's tenebrism and the Baroque period's abundance of luxury.
