Temporary Reprieve from the Cold

This is an outfit I got to wear a few weeks ago, when I got back from Florida and the weather warmed up, granted it was a bit rainy but at least I didn't have to be wearing a heavy jacket. I love it when the weather decides to be warm instead of the dreadful cold. I am able to take out some of my spring clothes and roll my jeans up so I can show off these cute shoes!

When I first saw these shoes, it was immediate curiosity and then once I tried them on it turned into love. I did not get them at first, I got a cute pair of wedges that I could wear to work instead. Then I was on a little shopping outing with my mom and sister and there they were in a totally different Macy's, I took that as a sign and had to snatch them up!

Unfortunately lately the weather has decided to be very cold and be windy. Definitely not fun.

Wrist Love

I like to use this tea cup saucer as a place to put my jewelry when I take it off at the end of the day. If I didn't do this I would probably lose my favorite pieces more often than I already do.

My wrist totally fell in love when it first wore my Fossil watch I got for Christmas from Jon. It is such a chic and classic watch that I can wear with any outfit for any occasion.

For awhile I haven't really though about the brand Fossil or what they had been up to; until I received a magazine in the mail with their new collections. That is where I caught a glimpse of this beauty for the first time, as well as many other beautiful pieces!

As for their watches, when I actually looked online to see what other styles they had, I was absolutely amazed! They have so many materials, shapes, colors and designs to choose from!

Red Lips, Nails and Clothes

My sister is a firm believer that whenever you wear something red you look prettier. I think she may be on to something.

I know I definitely feel prettier and happier when I have one of my red lipsticks on or am wearing a beautiful red polish. Even when I throw on that slinky red dress my confidence gets a little boost.

This is an outfit I wore on a rainy Sunday, and I will admit the red sweater, lipstick and nails lifted the chill from the air a bit.

This was another fun shoot I did with my mom as the photographer. The mannequin in the photo was a Christmas gift from my amazing sister, Chrissy. It is the perfect addition to my room! I named her Peach and she can act as a coat hanger, a table, style aid, or just something to lean on.
