Zana Bayne's designs were absolutely magnificent!  The whole collection flowed well together and went smoothly once the models hit the runway.  If you know of her work then you know it is a bit scandalous with a bondage edge. The collection seemed to be inspired by burlesque/ show girl costumes. All of the leather was such beautiful quality and the intricate detailing on each piece made her whole collection a work of art that could easily be displayed in a gallery as well as displayed on the streets.

Benny Hancock was the key artist who was sponsored by OLIV ARÉS HAUS of GLAM. The look he designed was composed of beautiful glowing skin with a striking bold lip (my fave!). The application of gloss on the eye lids added to the beautiful glowing sheen on the models' skin. As you can see in the photos, the look added a beautiful sophistication to the sexy ensembles. This was my favorite show that I worked this season!

NYFW Fall/Winter 2014: Lee Jean Youn

Location: The Pavilion at Lincoln Center
MB Fashion Week NY Fall/Winter 2014
Key Artist: Benny Hancock

The Model I applied the look to!

Benny designed a look that evoked strength as well as simplicity. The look was composed of a strong defined eyeliner and a very matte and natural face, which complimented the collection perfectly! He chose to use some white eyeliner for the bottom lash line to help the eyes pop. Some of the beautiful models had lace glued to their skin, which added a feminine and romantic touch to the look.

It is obvious that the designer comes from a background in accessories because the collection is bursting with fun hats that have a vintage edge to them; making some of the models look as if they have stepped out of the 20's and 30's. A time when a hat was a must-have accessory needed to complete a day to day ensemble!

I was not obsessed with the collection as a whole, but there are definitely some pieces I would love to have in my wardrobe. I will say that the show was far from boring and provided a feast for the eyes. The looks above are some of my favorite/ most interesting  pieces from the collection.

What are your thoughts on this collection?
