China Pattern

Outfit Details:
dress: via Piperlime
sunglasses: Asos
shoes: Talbots

Anytime I see blue and white paired together in a floral pattern, I think of a china pattern. A bunch of years back I was out thrift shopping and I came across this full gorgeous set of bone china that was white with a beautiful blue toile pattern on it. I kick myself every time I think of it and wish I had just gotten it!

Well at least I have this dress! It is such a comfortable and easy piece to toss on! I chose to wear my low nude sandals (typical I know) to keep it chic, but casual. I am going to style this outfit for a evening of hitting the town so stay tuned!!

What are you doing to prepare?

Pheebs is even getting in shape for bikini season!

Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and we all know what that means.... breaking out that bikini! Maybe its just me but I always have trouble sticking to a strict workout and diet plan; so I have decided this year (just decided this past weekend) that I am just going to try and insert random workouts and healthy drinks/meals as often as I can and hope that it will become a regular thing without me even knowing it!

Below I have a recipe for a detox drink that is both refreshing and great for the body!

2 quarts of water
1 lime
1 lemon
1 cucumber
1 Tbs of fresh grated ginger
10-15 leaves of fresh mint

Combine all ingredients, once sliced, in a pitcher and then refrigerate before enjoying! Drink 3 glasses a day.

Below is a easy to follow, yet increasingly challenging ab challenge. The combinations look deceivingly easy but each day you feel the burn increase ever so slightly. I have already done it but definitely want to do it again!

Here are some YouTube workout clips that I am trying out, they are quick and easy to insert into your schedule:

Here is one for when I have an hour to spend on working out

Here is some advice from Pheebs on how she is getting fit:

Baby It's Cold Outside

Outfit Details:
sweater: Hive & Honey via Piperlime (similar)
leggings: Simply Vera via Kohl's (similar)
boots: Vince Camuto
gloves: Target (similar)

I did this shoot about a week ago when we got some snow here in Virginia, and Phoebe got to wear one of her new jackets! She definitely does not like the snow, but we had to do a quick photo op because she is just so frickin' cute in her jacket.

This is the first time I have had a small dog and had never really understood why people dressed up their dogs. Granted I will never put her in crazy outfits, because I don't want her to hate me, but she does pull off a little jacket so well!

I am wearing a sweater I got from Piperlime, I love the Cobalt blue and it is extremely warm too. It doesn't add too much bulk to my figure either. I paired it with these heather gray leggings and of course my new favorite boots! Great outfit for romping in the snow with little Pheebs!

Does your dog like the snow or have to wear a jacket to stay warm?

All Dressed Up

This outfit is a perfect Christmas dinner ensemble with the metallic sparkle in the skirt. I got this skirt as a Cyber Monday steal from Piperlime, and the boots were an amazing acquisition from Macy's with their Cyber Monday buy one get one free deal on boots!

I was planning on wearing this for Christmas, but I started not feeling well on Christmas eve and opted for jeans and a loose top instead (also ideal when eating large meals). Phoebe, however, was still game for dressing up for the Holidays, she got that cute flower as a gift from a family friend. Super fancy pup, isn't she?!

This was her first Christmas with us and she had such a great time! Lots of toys and two super cute jackets to keep her nice and cozy when the weather starts to get really cold.

Outfit Details:

top: Blanco
skirt: Rhyme Los Angeles via Piperlime
shoes: White Mountain

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas yesterday and an overall wonderful Holiday Season! Sorry posts have been sparse lately, things have been pretty busy as of late!

I can't wait to share more fun outfits with you this week!
