sunglasses: Asos

I fell in love with the band Volbeat, the first time I heard their song Warriors Call. And last year for my birthday Jon took me to see them in concert! It was amazing! That is where of course I got this sweet tee. Of course it shrank a little bit after I washed it so I decided to cut the sleeves off and make it a messy v-neck, to make it a fitted tank instead of a too small t-shirt.

I have been wanting to incorporate the tank into a cool ensemble for awhile now, finally I threw this together! A little edge and a little class mixed together to create this badass outfit!

Do you like to add out of the box pieces to your outfits to add some edge to them? Everyone ready for New Years Eve?!!

The other weekend I was so happy to be able to wear something other than just black when I went to work for Dior! I had to speak at the Lord & Taylor Trend Show and was told to "fancify" my look and to wear something to grab the attention of the attendees.

I decided this Houndstooth pencil skirt would be perfect! I had gotten it at Dress Barn earlier that week and was so excited to be able to wear it. I always have such a hard time waiting to wear my new things, I just get so excited and want to see the great outfits I can come up with!

I was also told to try and incorporate red into the outfit, which I loved, but the only problem with that was I don't have any red tops aside from a red dress and a red flannel. I figured the flannel would probably not be appropriate, so the red dress it was! Since it is a very form fitting dress it didn't really add any bulk by wearing it under the skirt. And voila! a chic ensemble created!

I absolutely loved this outfit and can't wait to pair this skirt with something else!
