Lock in Spring and Throw Away the Key!

shirt: Cabi. shorts: BCBG Max Azria (old), sweater: Urban Outfitters (old), shoes: Halogen from Nordstrom

Finally it is warm enough to shed the huge jacket and be comfortable outside in just a little sweater! Actually it is too warm outside to wear a sweater, but I loved it with this outfit so much that I had to deal with the heat.

Not only am I dropping the extra layers of clothing, but I have also been right on track to dropping some lbs. of my own! So far I am down 5 lbs. Yay! So hopefully by bikini season I will have gotten fully back in shape, and seeing the scale go down definitely helps keep me on track towards my goal.

I do love this warm weather we are having but it seems to me that we skipped Spring and went straight to Summer. Now don't get me wrong, I love the warm weather, but Spring is such a lovely time of year it would be very sad to skip it entirely! So hopefully next week the weather will be more Spring-like and we can lock it in for a bit.

Enjoy & Be Beautiful!

Shedding the Winter Lbs.

coat: Elie Tahari from Lord & Taylor; boots: Dav rainboots

Winter just doesn't seem to want to move on. That crazy snow hit us again yesterday! This cold weather is similar to that winter cushioning that loves to latch onto my body, when the weather gets colder and the holidays are here.

I remember back in high school being able to eat whatever, as long as I was working out or staying active. Now things are not as easy and the sweets just seems to have become even more irresistible! My sweet tooth this winter got a bit out of control being exposed to all of the holiday treaties everywhere.

For the past few months I have been working on getting back in shape and working on my eating habits. I have had some success, but just like this cold weather, the winter lbs. are sticking around longer that I would like!

So I am hoping by the time bikini season is here I will have shed all the winter weight as well as the winter weather.

Enjoy & Be Beautiful! (and stay warm!)
