Black Clothing

Once you have worked in retail, where you have to wear black all the time, it is so hard to move away from wearing it even when you aren't working.

The other week my sister and I were shopping in Nordstrom and my goal was to buy clothes with color since my closet is already filled with black clothes. I tried on so many things and finally I tried on an orange maxi dress, which I loved! I was so proud of myself! So I only had one more thing to try after that and it was a black dress with the high-low hem line and I figured why not try it on. So I put it on and of course I loved it more than the orange dress.

And I bet you can guess which one I ended up buying that day.....yes it was the black dress. It will take time but eventually I will be able to balance out buying black clothes and brighter clothes. I have managed to do it with my shoes, so there is hope!
